Forerunners (both locations) offer a number of clinics throughout the year for runners of all levels, abilities and distances. We have different pace groups varying from 35 minute 10K (6:00 minutes per mile pace) to 65 minute 10K (10:30 minutes per mile). There's a group for everyone, so come on out and run with us! We also offer Learn to Run clinics with the Wednesday training. In a 12 week program individuals are guided safely from walking to running a 5km run in 12 weeks. |

Wanting to improve your fitness by becoming stronger and
faster? Join our Wed night clinic led by Jerry Ziak who has coached
all levels to runners to their personal goals. Jerry has an extensive
running resume from 1500M to marathon (2:17). STARTS: Wednesday, January 06, 2010 TIME: 6:30 pm LOCATION: 3502 West 4th Ave COST: $50 for 13 weeks (includes an ASICS L/S Top) or $5 drop-in Clinic includes 7 different pace groups plus a learn to run group. The 5K Learn to Run Clinic is designed to progress participants from zero running experience to 30 minutes non-stop running after 13 weeks. The Half Marathon clinic is designed for runners already able to run 10K continuous and who now want to learn how to run both longer and faster. Most importantly, Wednesday workouts teach participants to use more than just one gear in their weekly running schedule. Clinic participants will be given a weekly training schedule designed by 2:17 marathoner and clinic leader Jerry Ziak. Run Faster / Run Stronger Starting Tuesday, November 17, Forerunners begins Run Faster / Run Stringer sessions. Ongoing, Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm. We will alternate between track workouts and hill workouts. Come join us to improve that best time; to improve your endurance; to just add another great workout to your week; or to have fun with great group of people!!
